The RWBL has made the decision to suspend all fixtures until further notice.
The decision has been taken with consideration of the continued high number of COVID-19 cases in our Tier 4 area, and the likelihood of many of our club’s venues, especially Schools, being unavailable.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the League believe this is the right decision in the difficult situation we all find ourselves in.
Yours in Sport

Covid-19 Update: All RWBL fixtures suspended until further notice
In line with the Government advice that emerged last night RWBL is suspending all fixtures with immediate effect until further notice. We also recommend that clubs communicate to all team managers that all training sessions and friendlies should also be suspended.
Further updates as we get them.

RWBL Covid-19 Statement
RWBL Covid-19 Statement
RWBL’s position is that we continue to be guided by both the Government and the FA and as such we will continue with our fixtures as these do not currently constitute large scale gatherings. That said we will however support any team or club that feels that they want to take individual action to not attend a fixture because of reasons of self isolating or social distancing. Clubs or Teams that are in this position please contact your Age group manager and let them know. We will then (in the case of a competitive match) void the fixture.
This situation is evolving quickly and we will continue to be guided by both Government and FA guidance. Below is a link to the Berks & Bucks County FA update on corona virus. In the event that the Government recommend the closure of schools we will immediately suspend all fixtures until further notice. In the meantime we strongly recommend that all players, managers and coaches observe the importance of hand hygiene.

RECOGNISE AND REWARD
Hi
Hope you are well and ready for the new season. I just wanted you to be aware of this initiative from the Berks & Bucks FA
Do your team sometimes need an extra incentive to keep focused and improve effort & consistency levels at training and matches?
Why not consider using the Berks & Bucks FA Player of the Month certificates?
Aimed at older age groups, you can compliment the certificate, with a trophy or reward for their efforts during that month. Short-term rewards may help sustain your team as short-term goals can be seen as more achievable to players than perhaps an annual club awards.
If your club would like to use the certificate, go to the Berks & Bucks FA website to download the certificates or get in touch with them and they would be happy to send you some hard copies.
You can also checkout their site to see some of the Players of the Month from across this season.
Regards
Harry Prestidge
